Anyone remember me? I love the idea of this site, it's esp. great for us living just toooooooo far away. It's almost like visiting Glengarra, which I intend to do some day--the time I spent in the US really made a difference in my life in many ways. I'd like to hear from anyone who remembers me.

Thanks for the great site Beep! It's nice to hear form old friends! Camp was awesome, except for the mosquitos
and deer flies (which we don't have in Oregon!) the snake at the waterfront, and cleaning the latrines! I still love having campfires.

I have just a hilarious half hour looking at the photos and remembering all the great and memorable times we all had. The freakiest thing happened to me about 2 years ago. Some US interns came to work in my hospital - one of them immediately recognised me as her counsellor - 12 years ago - hey I must still be as young and beautiful as ever!! I think it's amazing to have a website to browse and remember so many years of fun times, crazy dares, laughing out loud, burnt campfire meals, singing, singing grace, no-thank-you portions, "the birdie song (Way up in the sky...), sneaking into the kitchen to steal Adda's hot cookies, secret buddies, mail, rest hour, frogs and mice in the wash houses (yuck!), nature hikes, stargazing, and the last night's closing campfire and wishboats around the dock. Gosh, as for many, Glengarra was a summer "home" for me for so many years.
Beep, I've got millions of pictures to share! Camp sound like it's changed since I've last been there, but the feeling it gives the people that share it, still sounds the same. I look forward to sharing old memories with anyone who would like to get in touch!!! ZAS

Well what technology. Tents, jackknives, mosoi coils, water purifiers and computers! Don't miss bugs, 6am cookouts and camp cleanup...but I do miss ricecrispie treats, campfire songs getting up to no- good, lots a laffs and Adda's bread roles. Cool site,lets see more photos.X

Hey! I love this site! Especially becuase I love camp. I went to camp on the 15th and stayed untill the 20th . Camp has changed so much in the years that I've been going. This year especially. But, we still sing and do all the stuff we did when i first started going. I hope to become a counselor someday. There are a lot of new counselors there, but there are still some of the old ones. Hello All! Well, last week Heidi Baldwin and I visited Glengarra. It had been 10+ years since I had been there. Wilsey(CD) was out of camp so we were left to tour camp on our own. They have added a rope's course, which I would have loved to see in action. We stayed for dinner and final campfire (mosquito's are just as bad as they were). Took lot's of photo's and will get them posted soon. It was an emotional trip- as everything brought back tons of memories. Beep!

I loved Camp Glengarra as a camper and a counselor. I am continuing the family tradition with my own children here in New Jersey. My oldest girls love our local council camp, Camp DeWitt. My parents still own a place on Panther Lake, I would love to visit Camp Glengarra again.

Hello my name is Kristin Yerkie....I love this site...Do you remember me HoHo I loved you when you were a counselor.. I am now 13 and still going to camp...I will be attending the backpacking trip this year and in the years to come i am hoping to become a staff...Although recent word is that camp willbe closing within the next 2 years...That will be very sad when it does....I love camp and it will always be a piece of me...Thanks for such a great time at camp when i was there HoHo and how has those bumper boats at Sylvan Beach going...I havent seen you working there in like i dont know how long 2 or 3 years maybe....Well any way thanks for making this site Beeps and I will always remember you HoHo. ~Kristin

Hi. I was a camper way back when I was about 7 and again when I was about 10. I remember Spunky and Beep, a bunch of songs, singing before our meals, and those stupid caps we had to wear swimming, I actually found mine when I moved out of my parent's house a few years ago, it was white. Oh, and I think there was something about one of the councelors being pregnant. I have good memories of there.
